19 Days

...until Sakura Con! :)

Today was a pretty good day. I didn't wake up in time to work out, but I got to my optometrist appointment. I'm going to keep trying with these contacts, but, they are still frustrating. But I got them in at the optometrist's without too much trouble (though I did poke myself in the eye with my finger >_<).

I did some running around and was glad to finally be able to pay some bills. I got home and made my new substitue for pizza! Take a peice of bread, some tomato paste, and cheese, throw it in the oven...simple, cheap, and it's pretty much a pizza.

I went to go get Nikki to help on my costume, and saw she was very upset. I won't go into it too much, but she was just...sad. :( Luckily I cheered her up with a comment. She was crying, and I said, "You know, you are hot when you cry." We busted out laughing, as people have said she looks beautiful when she cries. :) We talked a little after that and she seemed to be better. :)

When then got to work on Domo-Kun. We spent a couple of hours on it and so far it's coming along quite well. I'm still a little nervous getting it done in time...and my face might be sticking out of Domo-Kun's mouth...but we'll work around it. :)

Reneé and Charlie showed up in a bit. It was too cute, Reneé had the "Don't make me go Zelda on you" shirt and Charlie was wearing a "Hamtaro" shirt. Sometimes I wonder if they're mother/daughter or sisters. :) We had a nice dinner, though sadly Charlie wasn't feeling 100%, but she's a trooper. We talked about various things, and...yeah, it was a good dinner. :)

We arrived at bowling a little later, but it was cool. I like X-Bowling, but the thing is, it's so loud it's hard to talk to anyone. I couldn't understand people half the time. I would like to point out I won the first and only game we got to fully play that night. ;) Boo-yah!

Afterwards I said good night to Reneé and Charlie, and now I have to get to sleep so I can get up at Oh-God-Too-Early o'clock. Top that off with several meetings for Sakura Con on Sunday (with Daylight Savings Time in there)...should be fun. Now I'm going to go pass out. `^_^

Long Day, Short Night

Fuck you Daylight Savings Time. >_<

My biggest pet peeve with ________ is....

1. Driving on the road: People who drive 50 in the left lane of a 60 MPH zone. You're supposed to be going 65!

2. Males: Being creepy and/or arrogant.

3. Females: Same as males, actually.

4. High school: People who act like they know everything, but they don't know jack.

5. Significant others (in general): When one person is so much more in love with the other and it's obvious.

6. At the mall: Little people who don't move when I'm walking.

7. At the job: There is not enough web space to write down them all.

8. On the internet: Pop-ups, virii, and fake porn ads.

9. At a concert: The little girls who try and act tough by being up front but start to cry if they're getting shoved around.

10. Parents: Those that try and control their children's lives even if they're grown up.

11. Going on vacation: Not having internet access.

12. Attending a convention: Needing sleep.

13. The weather: When it's too warm.

14. Teachers: When they look at you like you're a dumbass and expect you to know all the material (if I knew it all, I wouldn't be taking the class, now would I?).

15. Exercising: Needing a spotter.

16. Christmas: Some people are more rude than they usually are.

17. Homework: Having to study boring material.

18. At a restaurant: Overpriced food.

19. At the movie theater: Tall people who sit in front of you. [EDIT] Crappy theater layout, as if it is done right, tall people don't get in other people's view.
