Things Are
Mar. 3rd, 2009 01:16 pmIt feels like not a whole lot has been happening lately, but on the other hand it does. ^_^
Whitney's contract at MS ended last Friday and she got a job at Warner Bros. testing games. It'll be really weird not to have her around. We usually went home on lunch everyday to have a nice little lunch and let the dogs out. Obviously I'll get used to it, but it's just weird.
Talked to my mom. She's doing okay, but seeing as how she has multiple sclerosis and not a big income...just worried about her. They went and bought another dog, which I'm not sure is the best thing all things considered...but I guess if it makes her happy...
Work has been fairly good. I've been getting a chance to read a bit more and study so that I'm not doing this for the rest of my life. I actually made a program yesterday (though just the typical "Hello World" one, but it's a start)! We'll see if I can keep it up.
Still been pretty hermity. Bleh, not sure if I even want to talk about that right now. ^_^
I probably need to talk to my doctor about my energy levels. At this point, it seems like I have to work so fucking hard to keep my energy levels up that...well, it's draining. I know I need to do the stuff that no one really wants to do (full night's sleep, minimal liquor and caffeine, etc). But I'm sick of just feeling like crap, like a slug.
We might be going to Vegas this summer as part of our honeymoon that we really didn't get a chance to have. Things are getting cheaper, it'll still be a little spendy, but all of my vacations in life have either been camping or going to E3 (not that I mind E3). A new type of vacation would be nice.
Obviously been playing a lot of games. We have an internal site at MS for people that game. I'm ranked about 369th in the company. :)
Oh! Got my file server up. I had far less porn than I thought I did. ^_^
That's off the top of my head. I should probably get back to work; things aren't perfect and I need to stay productive. :)
