So yes, yet another night of insomnia...this lasted until about 3am when I just forced myself to lay down and get some sleep.

It's awesome to wake up and look at the clock and see that it reads "7:42am". Keep in mind that I normally get up at 7am. Yikes! I wasn't late, but it was a mad dash, didn't even get to shower. Bah.

So, today's my last day of work for five days. Woot! I'll have Wednesday to just kind of relax and get things ready, the next three days for the con, the Monday to just hang by myself. Should be quite nice!

I used to be a very naive person. I used to think that every person in the world, no matter who, had some positive traits, some redeeming qualities. These past few years have been a real eye-opener. I'm the kind of person that you don't so much have to earn my trust, you have to lose it. Some people are just fucked up, and it'd be nice to ship 'em off to some island where they can all have each other. I think we all know who I'm talking about...then there's people like the one in Miko's post.

I know not every person in the world is messed up to the point of being anti-social or whatever. I wonder if these people realize how messed up they are? That they have no problem making threats or actually going through with them. Do they think that that kind of behavior is acceptable? Because of THEIR problems, that everyone else is to blame?

Maybe I should take some more psychology classes...of course, some people's problems are so fucking obvious that it's like staring into the sun.
