1) Christmas cards...look like those aren't happening this year (again!). :( Due to my computer being down...you know, I think I'll get started on NEXT year's cards. `^_^

2) I was having a discussion with James and some others. What role do you feel that you play amongst your friends? I guess this could easily be fitted in with a stereotype. I've heard people describe me as "the party guy" and "the social hub". `^_^

3) Rydia is coming along nicely. She's starting to peel, but I'm thinking she should be looking good again by the end of the week. ;)

Heh...I like my role just fine :) As for what it is, it could be a lot of things to my different peer groups. Between the Danger Zone though, I'm not too sure...

I'm not sure I remember that episode...was that with the one teacher who hated Jellyneck (or whatever his name was)?

I don't think so...I think it was the episode introducing Stu.

Stu's like "Hey, that's a plump looking chicken you've got there."

Derek goes, "That's not a chicken, that's my sister."

Jerri's like, "And this is Derek, my step-fag."

It could be one of the others, though...

I don't know; trying to fit myself to labels is like pressing JellO through a strainer and expecting to be intact on the other side; just doesn't fit. You tell me. ^_^

As long as I'm not "the one with the monkey", I'll be okay. :P

I know it's not good to really label...bah, I probably shouldn't have even asked the question. Still, it's interesting to see what people's responses are.

Hm, maybe I'm like that (monkey on my back)? *LOL* I don't think you're like that. :)

I usually play the role of the loner. In school I was never part of any "clique" or group but I had friends in every one of them. I don't particularly enjoy being in large groups, I do much better one on one. I'm sort of the therapist too. Everyone comes to me when they need to spill, get advice or just rant. Most of the time though I'm not included in group activities. People know me and like me but if I'm not right there they forget about me. Oh well. :\

I find that really hard to believe. You seem like a very bouncy, energetic person! :)

You are, like it or not, "the hub" (taken from that one LJ quiz about "what role do you play"), meaning that if someone wants to know what's going on, they look to you. You always have something going on, and you always know what's happening, even if you're not involved. You also know who's who, and how they all relate to each other. This makes you an invaluable resource for the less-socially-adept.

You are also "the party guy," in that you are quite often the one hosting/organizing social events. This isn't quite the same as "the hub", being more specialized.

You often play the role of "the sounding board," since you are known to lend a sympathetic and non-judgmental ear when needed. This goes along with the role of "the safe friend," since you can get away with hugging anyone...

There are a few other roles I know that you don't wear in public, any more than I do. And I'm sure you have many faces unseen. But your public faces are positive and just, and something you can be proud of.

Heh. That's my online personality. It's easy being crazy and random online. It's a whole different story in person. :( I never fit it with my classmates. I was always (not to sound cocky or anything but...) smarter, more mature, more responsible than them. I got labeled as Teacher's Pet because I did my work well and on time and helped out around the classroom when it was needed. By the time I got to high school I basically stopped trying to befriend anyone. I rarely ever saw kids outside of school anyways so why start? In all honesty, I have two really close friends right now. Dave who I rarely see because our schedules and lives are soooo different and Meagan (my cousin) who lives on the other side of the state and is in college. Meg and I got really close this year and I'm so thankful for that but still, we don't see much of each other. So most days it's just me and my family. I adore them though and we're all very close so I have everything I need. ^_^

It explains why I'm online so much though. ~_^

Aww... :( *hugs*

Well, I can kind of relate. Going through high school, I was very shy and quiet (weird...). But, after I got out, I just kind of opened up. I joined an anime convention and met most of my current friends through that.

^_^ Thx Dude. I got used to not having many friends when I was little so I don't mind. Besides, I'm so much more comfortable one on one. I prefer a quiet lunch or coffee as opposed to a party. Ever since I graduated though I've gotten much more outgoing. When I first started working for my dad I was SO nervous around his major customers. Then I met one of his favorite ones and I just hit if off really well with him. Now I'm totally fine with meeting new people. I started going to a Japanese speaking group on Fridays at a Kingdom Hall about 20 minutes away and I absolutely LOVE them. They're so sweet and so funny. We all go out to dinner after the meeting and it's been great getting to know them. I don't think I could have done that 3 years ago. ^_^

So when I come visit this summer I'll be all bubbly and outgoing I'm sure. ~_^
