Focus

I just can't focus today, for anything! I'm sitting here writing the walkthrough for Geist (though that might be part of it), and I'll write some directions out...and then my mind just starts to wander. Bleh.

I'm really just looking forward to this weekend. A LOT. Tonight I'll party hard, and the next two days are just all to myself. I think that's what I really want. Just some time to myself, catch up on some games, maybe finish some cleaning, read some of my books, watch some movies. I'll have some birthday pizza, maybe a drink here or there. *dreamy sigh* Yes, that sounds soooo nice. :)

Well, doesn't look like a tremendous amount of people are coming out tonight. I think only seven people are confirmed. Ah well, that's enough to have a good time. I like clubbing, I just wish they'd turn the music down a bit; it's hard to have a conversation when I'm yelling a foot away from the person I'm having the conversation with.

Mmm...anything else? Nope, except I'm a little tired. I might have to have a little pick-me-up before going out tonight.

Oh yes, and thanks to Anne for calling me last night (I think she misunderstood about my birthday plans `^_^). And I got Nintendogs on Wednesday. It's so cute! I have a little black lab named Belle. :)

Is Geist any good? I was thinking of renting it. The whole "possession" aspect looks kind of interesting, and the 'Cube has definitely been in need of a few good quality exclusive FPSs (and by comparison the XBox has way too many.)

Wish I could join you tonight, but today is inventory at work, which means that I have to stay late. :(

I agree about the noise level in clubs. My style of flirting involves witty conversation, so if I cannot easily converse then I cannot flirt. Takes some of the fun out of clubbing.

Geist is okay. It's fun, but you have to look past a few flaws: jumpy framerates, horrible auto-aim (and no option to turn it off), and quirks that have you getting occasionally stuck in certain places.

It's a renter, at least. I'd recommend to play, but probably not to buy.

Lame. Well, that's okay. Next time (although I think I said that last time). `^_^

Well, I like to dance, but I also like to talk, so... `^_^ Yeah.

All I have to say is coffee (Vanilla flavor something, but not like strong coffee) and sugar (cinnamin roll) and now i'm full and energized by sugar.

Now i'm home and gonna take a 2 hour nap before I get up and go back to catch the bus for work. I work at 11am till 8pm! 9 hours!

I'm sleeping now. x_x

Thanks! It was cool, she got me a little rug shaped like a piece of sushi. Just gotta find a good place to put it.
