The (Near) Perfect Dream
Aug. 25th, 2005 10:09 amLet's see.
- I've been doing really well with eating. Lots of veggies. I cooked brown rice for the first time last night. Came out perfect, and it really filled me up. I think the only bad things I've had in the past two days were two mochas and four drinks. Plus I worked out last night. :)
- I had the most wonderful dream last night. I don't remember the first part, but it was kinda Geist-esque (for those not in the know, the concept behind the game is that you can leave your body in spirt form and float around and possess other creatures and objects). I remember shooting a couple of guards and going through a door. There was a man with me, but he had the mind of a dog. We went into the next room that basically looked like a cafe. We were surrounded by probably eight "super villians".
The first time in the room, one of them shot me with some sort of ice weapon. The room then "reset". I then used the man with me as a shield and leaped through some sort of portal. I started flying through the wall, and all the super villians were sitting down outside. The man who shot me with the ice weapon started swearing that I was getting away, and I just laughed at him. I then started soaring through the sky and through the clouds. I flew down near the water, and I could feel the water spray up on me and the wind running past me (to even more identify it was a video game dream, there was some sort of red portal in the water; I really should've found out what it was). I then touched down in a grassy field that had a statue of a lion. Then I woke up with the feeling that I really, really wanted to go back. I've pretty much NEVER been able to fly in a dream, and when I do, it's half-assed flying where I can't really control it or go very fast.
I wonder what that means?
- I'm really excited for this weekend! I get to party hard at Aubrey and John's wedding (my tux is at the dry cleaners right now!). Then on Sunday I get to go hang out with my mom at the casino. :)
- I was reading through some of the ads in The Stranger yesterday. Maybe I should answer one of them; they seem to be more kind of girls. They seem a lot more interesting then the ads I see on Match.com.
I'll update later, gotta get back to work! :)
