Have to Love Those European Lunches!
Sep. 9th, 2005 03:20 pmMm, mm. Cheese and crackers, wine, and some soup for lunch!
Hm, anyway...let's see. Had dinner last night with two foxy ladies! Spent WAY too much on food. $28. It was quite good, though. Alexis, Lauren, and I had some good eats and good conversation, even if The Purple Café was way too loud for a place that was supposed to be seemingly chill. Ah well.
Oh, and thanks Alexis for the gift! I'm gonna go through it on my next day off and see what kind of goals I can set!
Should be a busy weekend I suppose. Tonight'll be finish shopping, maybe dinner with my mom, maybe gym, and probably drinks with Stef.
Tomorrow work, but I'll probably hang with the Aki Matsuri group afterwords. Sunday I'll actually help help. Hmm...I'm thinking my tye-dye tux with a headband? I don't have a tye-dye pimp hat...yet. ;)
Oh, yeah, this'll make people feel good about themselves. -_- Yesterday I was setting down a couple of cases of water. I was bending at the knees (like I was doing a squat), as is the proper method for picking up and putting things down. I just set it down when I heard a giant "RIIIIIIIIIIP". I looked to find that a giant tear had appeared in my shorts. The only jean shorts OR pants that currently fit me. Doh. -_- So I had to guy buy a new pair of shorts and a pair of pants last night. -_-
Been doing good with eating though! Let's hope it keeps up like that...
Still sore from Tuesday's workout. Two weeks until Hawaii. :)
Oh yeah, and for some reason I've just gotten really curious about sexuality. I'm checking out all these books and they're really fascinating. Definitely some good insight.
Another hour and a half of work... `^_^

Let me know if you run into any particularly interesting books. I'm always trying to find good subjects and that sounds like one. :)

Date: 2005-09-09 11:00 pm (UTC)I have another three books to pick up today. The one I'm reading now focuses only on animal sexuality. It's still interesting to see what kind of parallels you can make between animals and humans, though.
Once I read some more, though, I'll definitely be making a big LJ post.

Date: 2005-09-10 01:31 am (UTC)My research covers several areas of sexuality. In fact, my research was recently featured in Men's Health magazine. I am so brilliant.

Date: 2005-09-12 09:58 pm (UTC)Well, hopefully I'll be losing some weight here...a friend kinda talked to me and berated me into eating better. :)
I just tend to eat and drink when I'm feeling down. Yeah, not good, but...-_- Well, hopefully I can break myself of that. `^_^
