Genres/firsts.
1.What was the first video game you have ever played?
Well, my first system was a Coleco Vision, so...probably something like Donkey Kong.

2.What was your first console?
See first question. :) Though I'm also proud/embarrassed to say that I had a Studio II, but I think my grandma found it at a garage sale...

3.Have you ever visited a video game arcade?
Sure! Didn't get much of a chance growing up (hardly any arcades in the area). Even not so much nowadays (seems to be expensive at times).

4.What was your first handheld?
Game Boy (the original!).

5.What was the first game you've beaten/cleared completely? (Got to the last level/got 100%/beat high score, etc.)
I want to say Super Mario Bros.

6.Games based off of real sports: Yay or Nay?
"Real" sports? The Midway games (Blitz, Jam, etc.) can be fun at times. Otherwise, I can't stand sports games.

7.Online games: Yay or nay?
Hell yeah. :) Human opponents are generally more fun than computer ones.

8.Do you play any Massively Multiplayer Online RPG games? (MMORPGs?)
Tried Ultima Online for a night (spent five fucking hours wandering the forests and having no clue what to do), tried FFXI for a few days (spent two days trying to get on the same server as my friend, and when I finally did play, I couldn't figure out how), and finally settled on WoW (which I'm lovin'!).

9.Do you play any virtual pet games? (Neopets, Teripets, Aftermathzone, etc.)
Nah.

10. Puzzle games and Strategy games: Yay or Nay?
You know Tetris kicks ass! I'm better at puzzle games than strategy. I like them, but not too good at them. `^_^

11. Do you play any RPGs?
Yes, though I'm starting to lean away from turn-based ones (such as Final Fantasy) and more to the action ones (like Tales).

12. Do you play any Platformer games?
Of course! Who doesn't love Mario?

13. What was the first game/console/handheld of yours that stopped working?
I got a Game Boy Pocket that arrived with lines on the screen (though I just returned it to the retailer). Might've been my original NES as well.

Characters/Plot
14. Do you actually care if a game has a plot or do you just play games for the gameplay?
Depends on the type of game. Tetris doesn't need a plot. But a game with characters needs a plot for me to get really into it (I even enjoy the little stories that you get to see from stuff like fighting games).

15. Name a few video game characters that are your favorites.
Pretty much any Resident Evil or Harvest Moon character, Wario, Samus Aran, Sheena.

18. Has a video game character annoyed you so much that you wanted him removed from the game?
What was the guy's name? Bandiger from Thousand Arms? Wanted to shoot the fucker so many times. :(

Yes, I'm a filthy pervert and I love imagining video game characters like that. ;)

20. Do you write video game fanfiction?
Yes, I actually have a Resident Evil fanfiction up on fanfiction.net. I also tried to write one at adultfanfiction.net, but I didn't get to far (maybe I'll pick up on that sometime).

21. Do you draw video game fanart?
Drawing isn't my forte. -_-

22. Do you come up with theories on how a character came to be/what he or she would do in a situation/why he or she is moody/etc.
Yes, generally for Resident Evil characters.

Yes...*ahem* I'm a bit of a fanboy for Ann from Harvest Moon. ```````^_^

Boss Battles/Villains
24. Hardest Boss Battle
Ruby Weapon from FF7 or the Magic Emporer in Lunar. Both made me pull my hair out multiple times.

25. Most Frustrating Boss Battle
Ruby Weapon. Only getting one character to beat him with? Grrr!

26. Most Rewarding Boss Battle
These are almost all the same question. `^_^ Ruby Weapon or the Magic Emporer.

27. Funnest Boss Battle
I know I have one, but I can't think of one off the top of my head...

28. Most Boring Boss Battle
Lunar has some really fucking boring boss battles. -_-

Ruby and Emerald Weapon from FF7.

Kefka from FF6 had REALLY good music. I also enjoyed the Boss Battle music from FF7.

Ryu's father in Ninja Gaiden (NES). That was some fucked up shit.

The Nemesis from Resident Evil 3. Even though he's not by any means the toughest boss out there, he has awesome music, he's a great dresser, and yells "STARS!" all the time. :)

33. What's your all time least favorite villain?
Ridley from Metroid. He was cool at first, but they just completely overused him. How many times can he come back to life? Eeesh!

34. Do you ever feel sorry for the villains?
Not usually. They're villians for a reason, and generally video game villians are pretty black and white.

Mega Man 2!

Resident Evil 4 takes a top rank, though Super Mario 64 is pretty close to it.

DDR's always fun...umm...though I don't really play enough arcade games to have an opinion...

*ROFL* I had a lot of fun with Geometry Wars, does that count? :) Otherwise, I'm really looking forward to Wario Ware: Smooth Moves, Metal Gear Solid 4, and Dead Rising.

Depends. Mega Man has become so drawn out that I feel sorry for the little guy. How could you bastardize him, Capcom??? ;(

Yep, there are some hard games out there...

Depends on the game and how much time I have.

Resident Evil. I *tried* to play it, but it scared the shit out of me the first time.

Yep. I've broken many controllers in my day. Headbutted my N64 controller so hard that the rumble pak flew out and broke. Took a hammer to my SNES controller playing Simcity of all games.

While I still had it, my NES.

Oh yeah, Final Fantasy IV was one of them. :)

Pretty likely, I'd like to say in the game industry if I can!

Yes. Magical Vacation was one of them. Secret of Mana 2 (3?). Mother 1 and 3. I could probably go on....
