Christmas Eve

Yesterday was good, I suppose.

Woke up with a rather extreme hangover. >_< That's what I get for getting into a drinking match with someone who wants to get as drunk as possible with no abandon. `^_^

I still had some last minute Christmas shopping to do, so I didn't get to see Noel or my Grandma King. I'm gonna have to make it up to them both. I keep trying to get over and see Noel...

Well, I dropped off the stuff that Lauren's mom wanted me to get, then Lauren and I went to this place called "The Mongolian Grill". Damn, awesome food! Little expensive, but it was worth it. :) Before that I just finished my Christmas shopping, then we sat down and watched Dragon Half (can you believe she's never sat through and watched the whole thing?!?!). So, I'm try and get her to sit down more and watch anime. She needs to catch up some more before Sakura-Con!

I got up late today. @%!@$%!~ I need to a fucking bullhorn alarm clock. Can anyone recommend a good one? All my alarm clocks break after a few months for some reason. I need a LOUD one. It needs to wake up the dead. And destroy their hearing.

I'm hyped up as hell, with a double grande mocha and lots of OJ in my system. :)

So, I'm not doing Christmas cards this year, but I might try and do New Year's cards...I think Jeff and Jasmine had a really good idea with that!

Tonight will be quiet. I have some very last minute stocking stuffers to get, but I get off of work at 5pm. I wanted to have a little get-together tonight...but I know that Nikki is having one and pretty much anyone who's not going to that is spending time with family. I would go to Nikki's, but I'm feeling extremely lazy and I don't want to go anywhere. :) So, looks like it'll just be James and I tonight.

I think it's funny how Christmas and New Year's in Japan is reversed from here...there its Christmas for lovers/friends, New Year's for family. Huh.

I'm on enough sugar and caffine to probably type up a novel, but I have to get going back to work.

So I'm guessing the DS's alarm doesn't wake you up? I wished it was louder myself, but it has been waking me up each time I set it with the volume at max.

I've never tried it, but the alarm isn't very loud...I'm a heavy sleeper, so I doubt it'd work for me. :(
