Thanks everyone for the posts about my grandma. You guys are too awesome. I'm lucky to know all of you. :)

I talked to my grandpa tonight. She's doing okay. It got rather serious Thursday morning, but she's resting comfortably and will probably be going home on Sunday. I can't remember what all my grandpa said was wrong...something about some fluid in her lungs? Anyway, she is fine and I'll be going to see both of them next week. :)

What else...oh yes, my room is actually starting look clean. You can see most of the floor!

I went to the gym tonight...fuck, I feel like an old man. I'm sore all over, especially my back. It's bad enough that I think I'll have the masseuse that comes in every Thursday and work go to town. Don't really want to pay a buck a minute, but my muscles don't care at this point. -_-

Not much else. It needs to SNOW here badly...I want a snow day! Please??? `^_^

Well, I'll clear my bed off and head to bed... :)

Hmm.. sounds like it might've been congestive heart failure. Glad to hear she's doing better.

Could've been. Like I said, I don't remember all the details, but my grandpa did say that my grandma has a weak heart, and what put her in the hospital was her heart overworking itself.

And thanks. :)

Good, glad to hear it.

After riding the other day and a bit this morning, I was surprised to find I wasn't sore from it. What kind of exercise are you doing that's overstressing your muscles like that? Because if you're getting a good cardio workout instead of just pumping iron, you shouldn't be so sore and you'll burn more fat to boot.

I work my body pretty hard. When it's used to it, no problem. Last year when I was heavily in my workout routine, I was rarely sore. However, I haven't lifted weights or jogged in several weeks and my body's like, "Gah! What's this?!?" *shrugs* It's normal for anyone.

hey

Thanks man. :)

But what? Snow's awesome!!! How can you hate snow? It's so beautiful, and it makes everything peaceful and quiet...and if luck is on your side, you don't have to go to work or school! :)

(Lights his pipe takes a seat in his rocking chair) It was my 15th year of life on this planet when it happened. I was a skinny thing you could see my rib cage threw my skin and I had the smile of an angel. I had just showered and was coming to the living room to watch the Mighty Orbots. When there on the couch sat my brother more mountain then man arms of coiled steel and eyes of a wild beast trapped in mortal flesh. I went to the TV and changed it form wrestling when my brother said “Little one what have you done (translate What the hell you think your doing put it back on wrestling!) I turned to my brother and said “Dear brother forgive me for I knew not you where watching this (Trans Screw you, you SOB I’m watching Mighty Orbots you touch this TV and I’ll stick my foot up your ass!) It was then that I felt my brother’s hand claps the back of my neck like a lion catching a gazelle. And then I was lifted from the floor and then out the door minus the towel which was my only clothing at the time. It was Jan then and the snow was 7 in and for half an hour I was outside till my mother and father came home. To my brother’s dismay was to by vengeance as the belt of justice was applied to his back side. “puffs smoke form pipe” but from that day forth I did indeed have a better place in my heart for snow. And that me friends is why tis evil indeed arrrrrrrr.

Hey there,

If your grandmother has Secure Horizons health insurance there is a preventative program called Alere that helps with fluid retention (due to congestive heart failure). It's free for members although there is an equipment fee I think.

I work with the nurse who manages the program for WA and OR and although some people do not like it, a great many find it helpful and it has kept them out of the hospital.

http://www.alere.com/products/alerenet.html

You can email me or get a hold of me through Nate if you or your family wants more info.

Glad to hear she is going home soon!

woot!
