More Costume Whining

Yeah, pretty much what this is.

I really don't want to put any money into costumes this year. It feels like it'll be a waste. As much as a fall off the wagon, I get back on, and gradually I think I've been losing weight.

The kicker is that if I put together a costume now, in all likelihood it will not fit me next year. That happened with my tye-dye tux, and that thing was freakin' expensive. I probably have about $150 worth of material that I can't wear, simply because I've lost the weight (a good thing, of course, but a pain when trying to wear the same clothes).

So...I dunno. Chad wouldn't be hard, but Leon's costume will be spendy, as well as another tye-dye tux. Which, between the head protector that I'll pay Stef to make, and the blue name badge I'll get, I really want to make. *sigh*

but try refitting the clothes, some scissors and such...or something like that..but of course I'm a minor and I can't be held accountable for what I say or do. XD >^.~< ♥

I checked for that last year. Just did not work.

About the cheapest I can go is to get white painter's pants and a lab coat and trim it up a bit. It works, but then after getting it all bought and professionally tye-dyed, it's a little expensive. `^_^

You can always alter stuff to fit you better. If nothing else just lightly sew a few strings into it and you can make it tighter, and it is easy to alter back if necessary.

Ooooooh, I thought of a great costume for you! You could be Viewtiful Joe! Think about it, you could dye your goatee red and modify a bike helmet. Plus since the costume would be make of spandex, it will always stretch to fit! ^_^d

At this point, I'm more Captain Blue than Viewtiful Joe. `^_^ But I have thought about that before...maybe next year?
