Annoyances with T-Mobile...Already

The reason that I haven't had a phone to speak of for the past week, and probably until the end of this week at least.

I like my Motorola V300. It's nice, sleek, and loud. I don't like the antenna.

It was probably around Tuesday of last week that I noticed that the antenna fell off. It's one of those screw on-type antennas. The phone pretty much DOES NOT WORK without it. Even after backtracking, I was unable to locate it.

Check a T-Mobile store, no, we don't carry them. I check the website, they sell them!...though shipping is more than the cost of the part. >_< I e-mail them to ask if they know if a retailer that carries it...whereupon they don't me they don't carry them (lie) and that I could exchange the phone for $70. *rolls eyes*

So I caved in and ordered the part. I'm fine with accepting that I'm paying for a new antenna, but I'm not cool with the level of service they provided. What are you gonna do, though...

You know what else is aweomse? Insomnia...-_-

Sorry to hear about that. My V600 has a screw on antenna, but I have never lost mine.

I've had my own issues with T-Mobile. That's where I have my phone and my mom and I have really hated the customer service. We didn't get out first bill so I called, paid it over the phone and found out they had an incorrect address on file. I corrected the address and they said it was updated. A month passes, no bill, phone service cut off, my mom calls. Pays the bill over the phone. Turns out, the never even updated the address. I't sreally stupid, I mean.. REALLY stupid... if you ask me.

Yeah, so far I'm not impressed with their customer service. Hopefully I won't have to deal with them again anytime soon. Otherwise, I like them.

I have the same. Good phone, and I always play with it and unscrew the antenna off/put it back on, and I also do that with all the removable rubber parts. XD

I think it still works ok without the antenna... my signal bar doesn't usually go down.

I'm not sure if it's OEM though.

I get accessories from eforcity.com sometimes. They have an ebay username and use it to sell things cheaper than at the site.

I probably should've done that...saved myself a few dollars...but at least it came today (though that's a story in and of itself).

Heh. Yay for built in antennas. But I hear ya on the tmobile annoyance thing. For about 3 days their internet service has been down. I called yesterday to complain and they took money off my bill to compensate. Why can't something that COULD be so freakin good.. actually STAY good? My sidekick2 when it is fully functional is one heckuva device.
