Bank Update
Mar. 26th, 2005 04:38 pmOkay, I've calmed down a little bit about the whole bank thing. In the end, yes, it was my fault. I accidently put in my records a check for $130 when it was actually $230. I'm really not happy since that's a total of $275 I won't have for the next two weeks, which I really needed...but, working where I do, I'm not gonna call them up and be some dumb consumer. I talk to enough of them that if I ever turn into that, I'm not sure I could live with myself. I'd still like a reduction in the fees...but, whatever, I'll just have to be more careful.
I think I'll probably stick with WaMu. Except for this one incident, they've been good to me throughout. I still want to tell them where they can shove a broomstick, but...meh.
I have my savings through my credit union. I would switch to my credit union, but they only offer...umm...well, it says it's a check card (which should have a Visa/Mastercard logo on it, if I'm not mistaken). Hmm...maybe I'll think about that (I still get confused about the difference between a check and debit card `^_^).
Thanks for all the suggestions, and though I don't take pleasure in the fact that other people have had fees, it makes me feel not alone in getting screwed over.

Date: 2005-03-27 07:29 am (UTC)Make sure it's a girl. Ask her out on a date, and sweep her off her feet. Become her boyfriend, marry her, and father her children. Then when you screw up your books, slap her and tell her it's her fault, and that she sucks at money management. Then tell her to pay your fees or you'll divorce her.
