I'm not terribly big on April Fool's Day, since everyone's expecting something.

*sigh* I'm looking out the window and today is just one of those days that I wish I was riding my bike or I had a motorcycle and I was just enjoying the weather. I love the rain, but I suppose I should enjoy those sunny days too. Maybe if I can get up early enough on Sunday...

Yesterday was cool! I totally slept in, but I made it to the KOMO4 building just in time. Got to see some familar faces. :) It was interesting, thought he first half of the show was about soap operas...which I don't watch. `^_^ The second half the of the was about killers being set free, so it was not an upbeat topic. :( I was probably on camera a couple of times...we're gonna try and upload the video to the Sakura-Con webste. :)

Afterwards I just went home and spent the rest of the night doing little odds and ends, mostly trying to comment to all the posts and comments I hadn't on LJ.

Wednesday night I went to the gym. Now, I always thought my legs were in okay, even good shape. I do quite a bit of weight on the sled, leg extensions, and leg curls. I HATE doing squats since I remember them being pretty uncomfortable, but I thought I'd give it a go anyway. GOD. I couldn't even do three sets of 10 at 145. It kicked my ass. My legs are still burning. So...yes, more squats. `^_^

Not much else. Today's going fine. I'm looking/not looking forward to next weekend. It's too soon! But at least I'll have five days off from work. :)

I run so much that my legs are already built/tone enough I don't need to do squats. I've been working with the concept of doing 1 or 2 really intense sets with weights instead of a whole bunch of multiple sets, I've been toning and building muscle a lot faster. You might want to give that a try. Also, I've mixed abs into every work out that I do, since abs don't get sore with daily workouts. Might want to mix that in too.

I have slowly started to add abs into my workouts.

Well, doing squats the other day showed me just how out of shape my legs are. I'll do something different excercises...I'm not gonna start jogging yet since I'll just fuck up my knees if I do.

for legs right now you should just do excersice bike & eleptical machine. The motion is now/low impact, so it won't mess up your knees, and the cardio will help drop the weight off. You only really need to do about 15 minutes of cardio to have a noticeable effect if you do it at a high enough intensity. Say, double your normal heartrate for most of the workout.
