STUPID ALLERGIES!
Last night was so much fun, I was glad that I got out. :)
I worked, then got off work and noticed a message from Lauren. We decided to carpool down to Federal Way to a small gathering. Had a fun little ride, getting to catch up a bit. We got there...man, do I miss those people. Let's see...Slicks, Dave, ReneƩ, Charlie (OMG, she's so freakin' cute; she ran up and glomped me when I walked in!), Alexis, Darin, Eric, Shaun(sp?), Eric, Rik, Elmira, Audrey....and I can't remember Elmira's husband's name. `^_^
I was pretty quiet for a while, just scarfin' down some food. After a while Dave and I had a talk, which was cool. Honestly, a lot of it was stuff I heard before, some new, but I could definitely feel the concern there, which was touching.
Lauren was still ready to party, and I was feeling like going out myself, so her, Eric, Slicks, and I headed down to Pioneer Square.
Walking down the street, someone asked us, "Hey, you know where The Stallion is?" I turned slightly and was like, "Oh shit! It's Chris!" He walked with us for a while, looking for an Irish Pub. If I wasn't so out of shape and not drinking at the moment, I might've joined him for some rowdy fun!
Nonetheless, after parting ways with Chris, we ended up at the Fenix Underground. No drinks for me, even after watching Lauren down one. I didn't have a huge desire to have a drink, until I got out on the dance floor. Had a lot of fun dancing and keeping one eye on Lauren and another on all the girls. Little bit of Liquid Courage might've helped. Ah well, I did have fun. After dropping Eric and Lauren off, I finally got back in at about 4:30am. Ugh. `^_^ Had a really good night's sleep, though. :)
I didn't want to sleep in as late as I did, but...no help for it. I had the choice between the Publicity Potluck or Lauren's Concert, but honestly, between my grogginess and other stuff I have to do today, I think I'll have to skip out on them. It's okay, I'm going to see Land of the Dead with Wade. Maybe I'll grab a little something to eat first.
Of course I'll reply to them, but thanks everyone for all the comments in my last post. While I don't like to be berated, you guys are very supporting and I'm really glad you guys are there for me. :)

j/k ;P Hehehe. Well, I'm glad you had a good time. I'm also glad you could do it w/o having a drink. :) As for liquid courage, honestly, you need to develop courage on your own. The courage you get from alcohol is false and fades away with the buzz. It's only there as long as your drink is and that doesn't help you much. Besides, I think you make a much better impression when you're just being yourself. =^_^= You don't need liquor, you're freaking adorable as it is. ~_^

But thanks all the same. :)

>firmness of mind and will in the face of danger or extreme difficulty
That all involves depending on yourself, not on a stimulant that, when consumed in excess, can make you act in ways you NEVER would if you had all your faculties and can cause you to forget events, conversations and entire time periods when under it.

It could have also prevented you from going out with pretty girls because of it's affects on you. Granted, you'll never know what COULD have happened in the past, I'm just saying it's a possibility.
:) Your welcome all the same. :P

to sober partying!
Date: 2005-06-27 04:51 am (UTC)Glad you had a good time and not yucky feelings the next morning!

Yeah seeing Chris at just the right place and time was just too randomly cool! After the planned cool of earlier with folks at dinner. ^_^
