I woke up this morning to the most beautiful sound: rain. Lots and lots of rain. It was so relaxing, I seriously thought of just laying there all day. *dreamy sigh*

Of course, reality included in the form of my alarm clocks. Bah!

So it's lookin' like I won't have a whole lot of money for Hawaii. I'm thinking maybe $300, $400 if I'm lucky. I'm already going snorkeling with Tina and Nate, and that'd $85 (GAH!), but it sounds like fun, and when am I gonna be there again?

Food shouldn't be too expensive through Costco, and I don't think I'll be buying a bunch of expensive things...I should be fine.

So I guess Aki Matsuri is this weekend. I'll probably be there tomorrow helping out a bit. Hang out with the SC group and help out.

Ummm...not much else. Oh! I need to call Sarah and wish her luck at her soccer game! And this weekend is my cousin Dacia's baby shower.

Geh, okay, back to work...

Unless you're a homeless person sleeping on a park bench.

But the bright side of that for a homeless person: "Damn! Free shower!"

Don't pay for the snorkelling. Best area to snorkel is your backyard.

Yup. There isn't a whole lot to do on the big island outside of relaxing around the house, so bring some books to read as you lounge. It's not like Maui or Ohua (sp?) with the tourist spots. But it's heaven as long as you don't need electronics to keep you happy... ya know, enjoying nature, the relaxation of silence...
So basically you'll probably be screwed since you are such a electronics boy.

:P I'll be bringing video games. :)

But...so, is snorkeling easy? Where would I get the equipment?

$85 does sound like a lot, but then, I don't know much about it...

I like nature...in small amounts. :)
