I pretty much took some time to rest on my days off. I should've been crazy unpacking, but as I mentioned, my mind's just been jumbled lately. `^_^

Not sure what to think about last night. I sat down and actually put some stuff on my MySpace account. Bleh, I don't like the pictures I put up that much, but they're the most current ones I have. For some reason, I just couldn't get to sleep last night, so I ended up getting to bed at about 3:30am. Oddly enough, I got up at 6:45am okay, without the usual hitting the snooze button over and over. Very cool to see snow on the ground, even if it wasn't much (I want a blizzard!).

Things are going fine with the house. My room, as well as all my boxes, are pretty unorganized and messy. Still not out of the apartment completely, I might have to finish that up tonight. The house isn't super pretty yet, as there're still a ton of boxes and stuff around, but it's coming along nicely. :) Things are going very well with Stef and Arren, they're both excellent roommates. The heat might be an issue...shouldn't be during the warmer months. Guess we'll see how big the first month's power bill is. `^_^ Other than that, no issues, which is always a good thing. :)

Back to work!

It was bleedin' cold last night, and I only put the heat up to 65 degrees. I know, it takes a lot to heat the whole house, but when it's 20 outside, I don't wanna have to do jumping jacks in my own living room to keep warm. Besides, 94% of the time, I'm the Human Furnace.

For the nonce, we can put a lot of the existing boxes on the living-room shelves until we can get bookends and more shelving. I still wanna get brackets for those shelves downstairs, too...and put up the yellow tic-tac-toe shelves...and get a couple narrow shelves for the downstairs bathroom. I'm more worried about getting our apartments cleaned up before next tuesday.

I'll admit it was a tad on the icy side last night (I mostly noticed it this morning when I got out of bed...brr...). I have a feeling this (the heat thing) is just something I'll have to grin and bear; both you and Arren feel the same way about it. Overall not a big deal unless we get a $200 power bill. *_*

Yeah, I plan to be completely done with the apartment on Sunday. There're still a few things I need to get, and I'm crossing my fingers to get at least a little bit of the deposit back.

Good Deal!

I'm glad you've found a good match! :)

The heat here is a big issue too. Our first night, I had to turn the baseboard heater AND the space heater on, just to warm up. I hope when you get everything set up and unpacked, it'll be warmer for you.
