Pictures & E-Mail

Decided I had better clean out my Gmail inbox. Had nearly 400 e-mails in there! But it's down to about 300 now (mostly LJ comments that I haven't commented to).

I'm also really liking LJ's picture galleries. I can choose who can see what pictures. :) It's kinda lame that people can't comment to individual pictures, or that I can't (or don't know how) to adjust the "frame" size of the pictures, but it's way easier than dealing with a website. Now LJ just needs to have a file hosting service.

Anyway, because of this, expect many more pictures to start showing up here! I'll be posting them in either 800x600 or 1024x768 (not sure which yet). I'll post whenever a new gallery is added!

I just turn off the "notify me when someone comments" feature. I check my LJ often enough that I do not need the reminders.

I like to be notified, and if I don't have a response right away or am busy, I can come back. But I take advantage of that a little too often and sometimes I won't comment for months. Not always, but sometimes. `^_^

And it also helps to tell when a comment in someone else's journal is replied to, 'specially if there's a question in it. Heh.

And yeah, I've got (looks) 368 in mine at the moment, mostly SC Staff and invite threads, in Gmail. My own domain's got twenty times that in various folders at the moment. ^_^'

Clearing out a Gmail inbox is not difficult though. Archived emails are out of the inbox, but they are not gone and you can still find everything that you need to, so there is little to worry about.
