Sleeping Sucks
May. 21st, 2006 01:43 pmHad fun at the BBQ last night. Came home to be tagged by like everyone using Nerf guns. `^_^ Ran around for a bit doing that, then finally judged the Tye-Dye Ninja contest that was on the Nintendo forums. Of course there were some people that didn't like the results, but that's always the way, isn't it? `^_^ Still, lots of good entries, and some funny ones. :)
I was feeling a bit under the weather from the previous night, along with my allergies, so I wasn't feeling too social. Guess I was kinda being a recluse. Ah well. Dan helped me knock out some quests in WoW, so it was good times. :)
After that, though, I didn't have a whole lot of fun.
After playing WoW for a bit, I noticed that my left shoulder area (front and back) felt...sore. Like it was really, really tense. It was getting pretty uncomfortable after a while. Just a very dull, persistent soreness. After tossing and turning for a few hours, I finally took some Aleeve which helped a LOT. Of course, I then proceeded to have some not-so-fun zombie dreams. -_-
Woke up this morning and played some more WoW. Just trying to clean, though I'm sure I'll lose focus and play some more games. Just feeling drained, so not sure what all I have planned for the day.

Date: 2006-05-21 09:57 pm (UTC)Dude, take it from a veteran MMO player--they'll do that to ya, especially WoW. Try raising your chair. The reason why it's your left hand is because you use the W, A, S, and D keys a lot more often than you realize when moving your character. Plus, you may also be using that hand to cast spells if you hit your number keys. Be careful. That's how my carpal tunnel syndrom started.

Date: 2006-05-22 04:56 am (UTC)I don't use the WASD keys, but yeah, I can see the logic. And I typically use a mouse. Maybe I should look into a wrist brace? I don't know much about carpel tunnel.
