Thank you everyone for the well wishes yesterday. :) I think I just needed a day off, and I'm feeling SO much better. :)

Last night Stef and Arren made this awesome noodle-thing. I hate mushrooms and, once again, they were able to make a dish where I liked the mushrooms. :) Afterwards played some WoW. :)

This morning my body decided to get up at 6am. Luckily I fell back asleep for a few hours, then walked down to BCC. Rained a little bit, but no big deal.

I saw my academic advisor. She gave me a few things to chew on, though it was mostly, "if you're not sure what to do, here's the path you want to take until you figure it out". I'm gonna be taking a few tests to see what might be up my alley.

I have today free, though it sounds like we're going to have an awfully big GameNoc tonight. `^_^ And sadly I don't get paid until tomorrow so I can't make a run to the liquor store (we're running low on vodka).

Also, congrats to a friend that recently overcame a very stressful situation. *hugs* I'm very, VERY happy for you!

Okay, back to...uh...whatever I'm doing today. :)

The Good: Yay, I'm glad you're feeling better!! And another yay for seeing the academic advisor - the testing thing is a great way to get the ball rolling. That's what I'll be doing in that career exploration class this summer, too. ^_^

The Bad (or at least makes me feel Bad for whining): I reallyreallyreally don't mean to sound like a naggy bitch, but have you gotten to my email about the evites, yet? ^_^;;;;;;;;;;

*hugs!!*

*huggles*

Sounds like you're doing well^_^
I want to go back to school to finish my last four courses. At least I have that much. But as far as where I want to go from there, hell if I know. I keep changing my mind so often it's horrible. Some people have told me that some people just don't know and change their profession on up into their golden years. Kinda makes me feel better knowing I'm not the only indecisive person in the world.

Thanks, I'm doing pretty well. :)

It's difficult. I mean, once you get that degree and you're in that profession, you're pretty much there. It can be a touch decision. `^_^

Good luck on your degree!

The art of making a dish good enough that someone who hates a main ingredient can overlook that ingredient -- or even LIKE it -- is awesome.... Especially regarding mushrooms; they tend to be noticeable. I wonder if you would like thinly-sliced mushrooms sauteed in butter, salt and herbs till they're crisp on the edges.... I tend to pile these on sandwiches, such as a hamburger (VERY thin patty) with Swiss or pepper-Jack cheese. :D

I'm glad you're being proactive about your education/career/future! That is so inspiring. Maybe I'll get off my ass now!

Hm, it's something I could try. :)

I'm trying. I really need to further myself. I don't want to stay frozen like this (which, sometimes, is what I feel like).

Yes! Learn!!! :)

No, we have rum. :)

We might have to keep him outside. The owner is really against having pets inside, but maybe for just a little bit...guess we'll see.

Don't discount the fact that many people have no idea what they want to do and that is WHY they go to community college...you can take different classes that will fulfil your general distribution requirements, and you might like one of the subjects enough to pursue it as a major. Also if you have trouble deciding, the classes are so much cheaper than UW you can take some extras to make sure you know before/if you transfer. :)

I thought I wanted to be an English major until I started taking classes, ended up in a linguistics class, and loved it so much I switched to linguistics.
