The heat's still bad, but it doesn't seem as bad as yesterday.

Had my career counseling appointment this morning. It went really well and I think I've narrowed what I'll be doing down a bit more. :) I have to do some research, but yeah.

I'm beyond pissed right now. I'm going to go to the store, get some milk, and come back and have a nice cold smoothie and relax. I'd rather not be in kill mode for GameNoc.

Assuming? Bad. Very, very bad. Colin, how fucking DARE you assume anything about me?

EDIT: I don't believe Colin assumed anything to be an asshat; I believe he did it out of concern for Whitney. I'm still not super happy about it, though.

I am sorry, I did not think that would have such a strong effect on you. If it makes you feel better, right now I am trying not to cry in guilt in my office. So far I am only partially successful.

I will let you punch me when I get home. I do not know about you, but it would make me feel much better if you did.

Usually there's truth in what's written, but sometimes it doesn't come across quite right (after all, the internet doesn't have tone, or facial expressions, or any of that stuff).

I overheard you earlier this evening talking about how you prefer to be face-to-face with the people that you interact with. I can understand that, but I am the opposite. I prefer to write to people. That way I do not have to worry about facial expressions, tone of voice, spontaneity, etc. All that stuff has to be communicated the way that a professional writer would.

I guess that A+ in Written Expression must have lead me into over-confidence in my ability to articulate through writing.
