Goodbye Vacation Time

*sigh* Had to take a day off for camping with the family, a day off my birthday weekend, and then two days off for Kumori-Con (still need to register and get a room!). -_- So much for trying to save up my vacation time. Maybe after all this it'll be a little easier? Talk about future plans means that I need a lot of vacation time saved up, especially if I'm gonna try for the Hawaii house in 2008.

This heat has been absolute murder. Had to sleep in the basement last night, too. :( I heard that it's supposed to be getting a little cooler after today, though, so I have my fingers crossed. `^_^ At least I had someone really nice to sleep with. <3

Heading over to my mom's this week. Hopefully I'll get to see Noel (I lost her phone number, though, and I'm not sure I have her current e-mail address). Probably hang with Troy Wednesday night and then take my mom to the casino on Thursday.

Been pretty busy at work today. -_- No update on the NIS position. Just playing some Super Mario Bros. 3 right now. Good times!

I think tonight I'll play some WoW with Dan if he's online.

So yes, things are well. And...based on my last post, I guess I have more homosexual friends than I thought. One girl and three guys responded. I...suppose I'm flattered. `^_^

It's actually really nice out right now. There's a cool breeze and it isn't too hot (yet). Hopefully it cools off a bit. I love the sunshine, but this heat has been a killer with no AC in the apartments around here.

You can find more info about Kumoricon here (http://www.kumoricon.com/). It's an anime/game con that's in Portland, OR. It's a bit smaller than Sakura-Con, but I've heard it's a lot of fun. :)

Oh yeah! I meant to tell you, I'm postponing the anime night thing here so please feel free to claim that weekend as your own if you haven't picked one yet. I am doing this for several reasons but one of the important ones is that it's your birthday, you should get whatever weekend you want. :)
