I'm feeling a little too dependent on mochas at the moment. I'm trying my best to slowly go off them...ah well, I'm eating a lot better so I'm not overly concerned about it.
Oh yes, and happy birthday to
thestupidguy! I'd drink a fifth in your honor, but alcohol has been making me feel a bit sick lately. `^_^
The visit with my mom went pretty well I'd say. I think Whitney and her like each other, which I'm really glad about. Feels like I didn't get to spend a whole lot of time with them, so I'm probably going to try and make it back soon. Choo was pretty well behaved for the most part, though I guess he didn't like being left alone in a strange new house. `^_^
Yesterday was nice. Very non-productive, but I think that's what I needed. Mostly played games and hung out with Whitney.
Two more days until payday! Sadly with the work on the car I probably won't have much in the way of play money. Rent, student loan, money for my mom (for the car), money to Whitney (for buying Kameo), present for Charlie, new tires, groceries...I'll just have to be frugal with eating out. I think that's where a lot of my money disappears to. Damn! I really wanted to get a wireless adapter for my Xbox 360 too... -_-
So far today's going pretty well. I'm not completely annoyed by the phones, so I guess yesterday did help. :)
Dude!

Re: Dude!
Date: 2006-10-03 06:44 pm (UTC)Well, I'm trying to limit myself. There's a LOT of sugar in a mocha. Since I'm not drinking liquor or eating pizza like I used to, I might just call that my vice now. :) And heh, good comparison. I need to catch up on House. I really like that show but I don't watch TV that much so I don't usually catch it when it's on.

Date: 2006-10-04 02:12 am (UTC)As for money...lets see...I have a house, that's a great lifestyle plus but a huge chunk of our income goes to the mortgage, upkeep (or lack there of), and utilities. Then there are our pets. My puppy has something wrong with her and in the course of figuring out WHAT is wrong (they still don't know) I've shelled out 300 bux worth of testing. Then the other two were due for shots. $240 bux after exams and meds (one of them has an infection apparently). We also paid to board them while visiting my Mother in law who was not gonna tolerate them shedding all over her house. Then today my tire goes flat on the way home and I find that I'm probably gonna need a whole new set very soon. Then there is student loans...let's just say I pay as much out on those suckers as some do for their rent (two people's loans and 7 years of raising a child and going to school...KACHING!). I'm not even gonna go into the rest (legal battle, feeding the family etc etc etc). Yeah. I gotta stop eating out. *wanders off a little depressed....*sigh*
