So near the end of work yesterday I was starting to feel VERY crappy. Feeling a little dizzy, upset stomach/no appetite, feeling very hot.

I get home and do a few chores. Colin was nice enough to grab me an Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter, so now I can play online. :) Thanks Colin!

I head over to Whitney's and I get really upset because I'm just fearing for my health. I kept thinking back to my blood pressure and how high it was/is. Whitney was very comforting telling me it would be okay. She then made me the BEST meatball sub I've ever had in my whole entire life. Some honey bourbon meatballs from Top Foods, Cracked Wheat Sourdough bread, and gouda cheese (with a little extra BBQ sauce). Damn. SO. FUCKING. GOOD.

We spent the rest of the night watching 28 Days Later. After she fell asleep I read some more of World War Z.

Felt pretty good this morning, got to do 45 minutes on the treadmill. Also it's been a fairly good day at work. :) And tomorrow's payday so that's even better!

Back to work...but...yay! :) Thank you again Whitney. You're too good to me. :) And yes, I'm feeling much better today (physically and mentally).

Exercise seems to have very theraputic effects. My bike certainly works on me.

Exercise can be like a drug and give a very good feeling, but I find that the good feeling (the high, at least) doesn't last very long making it hard to stick to a routine.

Hopefully, though, I can force myself into a routine. :)

One of the reasons that I take my bike to work. It means that I have to get exercise at least ten times a week. You should try riding yours to Nintendo sometimes. Going from the Bond House to Microsoft is a half hour trip each way for me, so Nintendo should be pretty similar (and a little less hilly.)

Kudos to Whitney. Worry is not gonna do good things for your BP. Studies indicate that having love and support make a big difference outcomes related to stress. So yeah, I'm glad you have Whitney to help you through the tough times... ^.^ and I'm glad to hear you're feeling better!

I went to an interesting seminar this past weekend on Chi Qigong-an ancient chinese meditative healing art (a bitlike Tai Chi). A lot of discussion was about the power of "intention" in reclaiming our health. One of the ladies at the class was in her second round of battling cancer and credited this practice with contributing to her healing. I'm not saying you should go do Chi Qigong persay but I think you are on the right track by thinking of your health and making changes with the intention of becoming more healthful. If you feel anxious maybe it will help to remember that. ^.^ ? Take care.

Heh, yeah, I'm wondering if that what was making me feel so bad yesterday. `^_^ Lately I've been a bit more of a worrier and I'm not really sure where that's come from.

I picked up book from Half-Price books on (I think it was, at least) Qigong. I haven't looked at it really since I got it, but I might try it. I do need to relax more. :)

Thanks, Mira! *hugs*

Wow. That's quite a coincidence if that book is on Qigong! I'd say that's a message. >.>

Maybe I should do it too. I could use with some healing and calm myself. ^^ Looking online there are a ton of Qigong practitioners.

*hugs back*
