I love this time of year in Seattle. It gets a little darker and wetter and colder. It has a very cozy feeling to it. You know, go on a walk while it's kinda cold, then go home and just relax with some Irish or Non-Irish hot chocolate. Mmmm...

Actually having a fairly good day today. I'm feeling productive. I'm NOT looking forward to having to be at North Bend at 6am on Thursday. Geez, probably have to get up at 4am. UGH! Oh well, it'll be worth it.

Oh yes! I forgot to mention. Whitney is looking to take over the lease for her house (around 11/19...coincidence?). However, she needs to fill up a couple of the rooms. So far it'll be her and her friend Charles.

A little about the house...it's down around 40th St. SE on West Lake Sammamish in Bellevue. It's a big house, probably a little bigger than the old Bellevue House (maybe around...2000-2500 square feet?). Downstairs it has four living rooms, a spacious kitchen and dining room, a half bathroom and a laundry room, and a back porch with a backyard. Upstairs are the rooms (three rooms to share a bathroom). I'll double check with Whitney but I think rent for the rooms will be around $500. They have a dog (well-trained for the most part; hyper for about five minutes whenever anyone arrives and then becomes extremely mellow, but doesn't get into stuff and is housebroken, and generally isn't loud). They are thinking of getting a cat/cats, but would make sure that the litter box is out of the way. Utilities would be shared (the basics, plus they'd have internet (we're all nerds so obviously there'll be wireless) and basic Digital Cable). There's another requirement or two, but that can be discussed if you're interested at this point. I'll be there quite a bit, and I'll probably move in with her at some point in the future. I can also arrange to show you the house (it doesn't look very good now because of the destructive dogs that Whitney's current roommate has, but it'll be cleaned up). I think they're going to go for a one-year lease. If anyone is interested, please, let me know at sking iii at gmail dot com!
