I'm still finding mine...I thought it was creating video games, but now, I'm not so sure.

I guess I want to do something that will leave some sort of impact on the world. What exactly, I'm still figuring out. But I think I'm getting my life together and it's something that could happen.

What about you? What's your dream? To live a life of pleasure and happiness? To raise a family? To invent something?

I don't really know what any of my friend's dreams are...not that I can recall off the top of my head, at least.

My dream is to live on a little farm outside of Eugene, OR, with goats, chickens, a couple of sheep, and a garden. And be a student forever at the college there - taking Literature classes, Philosophy classes, learning Italian . . And not have any classes that start before 10:30am.

As far as work goes I don't know. I feel like I'd like to work in an animal shelter or be a Waldorf preschool teacher, but those are both sort of unrealistic, money-wise. And if I'm going to be unrealistic, then I'll just stick with my farm/student idea!

Harvest Moon! :)

Sounds like a peaceful lifestyle.

Yeah, that's kind of the sad thing about today's world. Jobs that are good and help people don't always pay enough to really live on. :(

I want to get my vampire novels published. I want to own a coffee bar/cafe. I want to work in a tattoo parlor.

I want to make people (including myself) happy.

I want to save the world.

Good stuff. :)

Let's just hope the world isn't too far gone to be saved.

Before I graduated high school (Big w00t ^.^), I was sitting in study hall contemplating this same thing. I came up with an awesome list.

First off, look up a professor at Carnegie Mellon, Randy Pausch. He did a lecture called "The Last Lecture." Seriously, I learned so much, and he tackles the issue of achieving your dreams in life. Check it out.

My list:
-Sky dive/Zero G
-Walk on the moon
-Ask more questions
-Visit China
-See a Picasso/Da Vinci/Michelangelo painting in real life
-See The Thinker
-See the northern lights
-Go to Africa to see a giraffe ^.^
-Get on National TV via credits on a cartoon
-Live in Japan
-Study with a monk
-Join in on an Archeology Exploration
-Master Japanese
-Make every moment worth being alive for :3)

Seeing your list just made me remember that I have a spreadsheet of goals at home. I'll have to look at it again.

Those are some good goals and dreams. :)

A dream...

I've always dreamed of being a TV/film actor. I've taken a couple drama classes while going to college so I have a faint idea what goes on. But getting there is a bit of the trouble. As a back up I'm working on my teaching certificate for history/drama in high school.

The one thing I want most in the world is having some sort of part in the star wars live action tv show. I don't care how little it is.

I hear you, I briefly thought about doing acting. Just didn't seem quite right for me...

But I hope you succeed!

That whole not so sure thing.. I totally know what you mean.

I had all these dreams, about changing the world, making a difference in people's lives, helping people.. even specific things I wanted to do. But now, it's like they all suddenly disappeared.

It is so strange and discomforting not having plans or things to work towards. Part of me is very uncomfortable, but part of me is just kinda like.. eh, whatever.

But, well, good luck finding your dream(s)! I am a definite believer in that whole, you can go for it and make a difference if you want to. So good luck! =)

I would like to help make the world a better place. But it seems that there are a lot of people out there, lots of them in power positions, that really make it hard.

Yeah, I'm just kind of enjoying the ride at the moment. Hopefully I'll get some focus here soon. :)

Thank you! Good luck to you too! :)

My dream is to crack open a person's ribcage with giant pliers and mess around with their gooey innards. I can even think of a few people I'd like to do that to.

I'm well on my way.

So either a surgeon or a murderer.

It's good to have goals to aim for. :)

I want a family.

I want to be able to look at myself every morning, and know that I have not hurt anyone.

I want a nice slice of Key Lime pie from time to time.

I want to make my saviour proud of me.

I want to speak the truth always, even if it may offend.

I want to be a true friend to people I encounter, even though it may cost me.

I think those are admirable goals. :) Though, the last one in some cases could be good or bad, depending.

I'm trying my best to accept more truth without being so on edge about it. No one's perfect. ^_^
