Bizarro Week

What a week.

First though, happy birthday to Brittany! Hope you had a fun one! :)

Second, I seem to have had a curse on me in regards to machines. Within a week's time, my home laptop and desktop died (power issues and hard drive issues). Then my 360's optical drive is failing. THEN my work desktop broke (power issue again). And not that it's my fault but I may as well take credit for it, but the dryer broke.

But, I'll be taking my laptop in tomorrow for a warranty repair, and then sending my 360 for repair. I'm turning my desktop into a file server of sorts, so I went and got a 1TB HD and am currently copying all my back up files...

Speaking of which, I found a DVD with tons of old pictures on it, pictures I thought were lost. Lots of Sakura-Con party pictures. I think I lost track of the number of nostalgic sighs while looking through them. Am I already an old man that is that nostalgic for just a few years ago? But yeah, I'll have to post them soon. :)

Went and saw the Video Games Live concert with Colin and Aubrey (Whitney wasn't feeling all that great). It was a great time. Lots of the same from the first one, but understandable as I'm sure there were a lot of newcomers. No Megaman (sad!), but the Castlevania medley was really great. Oh, and if that wasn't a real trip...I met John (guy I used to work with) and Sarah (girl I dated for a bit) at the concert. Hadn't seen either of them in years. Also saw Freeman, though I pretty much just ignored him. I guess him and Andrea have been going through some rough times, and as much as I don't care for either one of them I'm glad that they're at least okay.

So...I don't know, at least it's not boring. And I still have my job, which I'm pretty grateful for.

I recently went thru a bunch of old files from my old computer and stumbled across similar sakuracon related photos.

Most of them were from parties at your place! I'll let you know when I get them sorted and uploaded. :)
