Ugh

This is a bitch post.

I'm going to the doctor's tonight. I got a full night's sleep today and during the second half of the day I can't focus on anything (surprised I'm able to make this LJ post). I feel pretty useless at the moment. More than one person thinks it could be sleep apnea; whatever it is, I'm sick of it. I feel completely unmotivated; I just feel like crap.

I get like that too sometimes. I wish you the best on your doctor's visit and hope you feel better!

Thanks! Maybe there's something in our water or food? I find it hard to concentrate a lot, lately...

Definitely see a doctor about that. Given your MS insurance policy, you have nothing to lose apart from a couple nights away from Whitney and the dogs (for sleep testing.)

True, rather get it taken care of now rather than later...

Apnea is nothing to mess with. It could kill you if left untreated, though not directly. Get that sleep test, and don't delay if you are feeling the symptoms.

My cousin was just diagnosed with it. I'm definitely getting in, though, I've suspected that I may have had it for a while...

Didn't know about the death thing, guess that just motivates me more. ^_^

Well, when your brain is not getting enough oxygen, that can lead to a stroke, which as you can imagine can cause a lot of complications, sometimes disabling, sometimes fatal.

When you have apnea, your breathing, and thus oxygen intake, are impared and can cause a stroke if not treated.

Nate was suffering from it for years...he did his sleep study, got diagnosed and received his machine just in time for our trip to Hawaii. :) Does Whitney hear you stop breathing in the night? It's definitely a noticeable condition.
