What A Day

Tired. >_< Quick update before I head to slumberland.

I still have a lot of people to give my opinion to. `^_^ Some are easier than others (obviously). Some...well, I'll be the first one to admit I'm not the best at be ice cold straight forward honest; sometimes it's neccessary, but that doesn't mean I like it (or that it's neccessary for this situation). But I'll get through them. :)

So far, I've gleaned two negative aspects to my character through people's opinions of me.

I'm horrible at getting together with people. *nods* I can see that...geez, there's a lot of people I want to hang out with (Katie, Colin, Beth, Nikki, more). I guess I can give every excuse in the book, but they're just excuses. I don't want anyone to feel that I'm just saying, "oh, let's hang out!" when I don't intend to. Life gets in the way, but I guess I just need to manage my time a bit better. I'll try and make more of an effort. :)

I drink way too much. On one hand, I don't see this. I don't drink and drive, I'm not an angry drunk, I'm not spending all my money on liquor. Squeek! had pointed out that I tend to drink to relieve some of my frustrations. Mmmm...okay, that's fair, I'd say I do that sometimes. Not the healthiest, I know. But I don't think I overdo it. I think when it comes to the point that whenever you see me, that I have a drink, there's a problem.

*yawn* So even though I'm a bit frustrated, I'm not drunk! *LOL* And hopefully I'll get a good night's sleep. :)

No one is perfect. It is important if you see an aspect of yourself as something you would change to do the best you can to change it. Don't change yourself for anyone but you. :)

That's true, and I like all the nice things people had to say about me. I'm not coming down too hard on myself; we all have room for improvement. :)
